Portrait

"At the heart of all photography is an urge to express our deepest personal feelings - to reveal our inner, hidden selves, to unlock the artist" - Galen Rowel
In photography these are close up captures of a person or a small group where your focal point predominates on face expressions. Normally it is more of a composed image of a person in still position where the objective of most photographers is to display the likeness, personality and even the mood of the subject. But for me, I took portraits in candid shots or snapshots which I find really challenging. These are photos that captured my heart not only that they can lead us to something that we cannot see if we look widely. There is something unique about the subject such as the eyes expressing different messages. It shows us various stories at different angles of LIFE. And again, I say these moments are rare occasions.
